Getting started

 My squirrel is a Southern Flying Squirrel.I got him off a breeders farm in Florida when he was about 1-2 months old. He was not tame yet when I got him, so I knew I had a challenge ahead of me.

This is my flying squirrel his name is Techno.He's a male I also have a female her name is Akorn. (pictures coming soon )

Taking Care of a Flying Squirrel

FOOD; put food in a small dish. I feed them a mix of; sunflower seeds, corn, dried fruit, peanuts, waulnuts, and banana chips. Never feed them chocolate or almonds.

WATER; You can use a small dish or automatic waterer(that's what I use)Always mix in Parrot vitamins

HOME: It should have a fairly large cage, with bars that are close together to prevent escape (1"x 1/2''). You should put a small house for the squirrel to sleep in with cotton. NEVER polyester.
